Assist with the Toolroom manufacturing team and support them whilst adhering to good manufacturing practices.
Continually monitor and work to improve Health & Safety.
Assist toolroom team and support all engineering activities that are processed and developed in the department and ensure all work completed is to company and legislative standards, to required quality and within the time allocated to provide an effective service.
Become competent at being able to set, operate and train others on CNC machines, required for the manufacturing of special purpose machines for production and manufacturing parts for conveyors.
Responsible for works orders, delegating work and stock control/raising stock orders linked to target.
Compliance with data protection (GDPR) and health and safety requirements through the company.
Ensure that procedures in all relevant areas comply with the company Quality Manual / ISO 9001 requirements and that records are maintained and sufficient for external auditors’ purposes.
Work closely with internal and external colleagues to ensure customers receive a first-class service.
Assist in maintenance of machinery and corrective and remedial work if necessary.
Assist in maintaining a safe and tidy work area and ensure that safe working procedures are adhered to by all working in or visiting the section.
Ensure that all work completed is to company and legislative standards, to the required quality and within the time allocated.
Assist in creating a high performing culture where team members are motivated, engaged and supported to develop and achieve their potential.
Ensure all equipment adheres to relevant legislation so that a safe working environment is always maintained and that team members follow good manufacturing practices to ensure compliance with food safety requirements (components for conveyor products).
Support the introduction of new CNC equipment and machines and support the development of jigs & fixtures, new ideas and concepts to improve CNC productivity.
Assist in ensuring all production control documentation is completed, correctly submitted on time and used as intended.
Provide lead times for the manufacturing and despatch of sprockets as required by sales.
